Great place to work, excellent environment and culture. Very stable with room for growth and great exposure to higher education and a variety of business functions

Cons

The pay isn't super high because you're working for the state of course. And you have to battle traffic if you live in the city... parking also isn't that great.

The university is growing and there are funds available for research if you look around. The student population is diverse and improving in their academic qualifications.

Cons

There is a lot of change associated with all that growth, and leadership is fairly hierarchical. Shared governance is sometimes given lip service only.
