Pros

Initial creation of System was forward thinking.

Cons

Toxic work environment. The Board is being undermined from within. Significant lack of diversity and representation. All the senior leadership has left within last 2 years. Including the President. So his rating is a thumbs up, but he was forced out.

Poor and inconsistent leadership at System Office. College presidents control everything and not System Office. College staff doesn't respect those at System Office Extremely political and out to get individuals Gender discrimination Not very diverse

Pros

Most people are in it for the students

Cons

The system is too controlling of the colleges, way to burdened with administrative processes creating inefficiency band frustration. Low salaries means tons of turnover. Misleading HR practices. One of the worst funded Higher ed institutions in the US. Takes to long to make meaningful progress.
