Pros

- Worked with some genuinely great people while I was there. Many of them were hardworking, smart, and helpful. - Like most agencies, it's a way to dip your toe into marketing (whether it be strategy, technical, data, etc.) and a first step for a better career/job afterwards

Cons

- They have unlimited PTO and have a so-called mandatory time off, but no one ever really enforces it, sometimes make you feel guilty for taking time off. When you get back from vacation, get ready to be hit by a WALL of text. Also on days off or holidays, you're still expected to help out with ""weekend coverage"" so you can never really check out and take a break. - Blatant favoritism. If you're not best friends with your manager/other higher-ups, good luck getting any growth opportunities. It helps if you're white though. - Constantly overworking employees (ESPECIALLY analysts and senior analysts), leading to major burnout. Analysts especially in the first 3-4 months, barely any help or training and you get thrown into the deep end.

Pros

Smart team and clients. Innovative work processes & philosophy towards data and optimizing campaigns. Great learning environment, but could be streamlined and training new staff not systematic.

Cons

Not a friendly working environment. Upper management often too busy to help associate or mid-level managers. Hiring so often, revolving door and people leaving less than a year at a consistent basis. Interview process isn't great either and they are do not take the time to prepare the interviewees before arriving.

Pros

There is nothing good about working at Kepler.

Cons

Bottom Line Up Front: do not accept an offer of employment from Kepler; wait for a different job offer to come through. Kepler has serious issues with the way they allow their directors and managers to behave and treat subordinates. Many of the people leaders at Kepler are only 2-3 years out of college and have no business being in levels of authority. Ultimately, you will most likely be subjected to a toxic work environment that can cause serious harm to your mental health. HR is worthless and won’t lift a finger to help or get involved when an employee needs it. It’s no wonder there are so many negative reviews of Kepler mentioning racism and homophobia. Hours are very long and managers will routinely expect you to take their calls after the day ends and work well over 60+ hour weeks. Then will deride your for not producing work in the exact way they were thinking, despite giving no instruction or guidance beforehand. Given these conditions, the pay is pretty disappointing and not very competitive for the market. In conclusion: there are many many corporate jobs in the same field as Kepler that offer a much more pleasant work experience. Wait a few more weeks for one of these companies to send you an offer. You’ll thank yourself for it in the long run.
