The experience I had at Kepler was something that I wouldn't wish on anyone. From the first month, I knew that I made a big mistake accepting their offer. From having multiple managers (they kept quitting) to the constant bullying I endured was just a few things that made this place a living nightmare. I constantly spoke with HR and leadership about how my managers treated me but I never felt protected. I never wanted to use race as a reason for my mistreatment but after reading many of the other reviews on here, I see that it was a possible issue. It's difficult to name a few of the issues because there were so many. They claim that it takes you 3-6 months to understand the projects while onboarding but expect you to be an expert in the role after 1 month. They barely train you and if you're in a senior+ role, you're on your own for the most part. Managers and teammates loving throwing each other under the bus on slack and to save themselves from experiencing trouble with leadership. Most of the managers are very young and lack leadership skills. Favoritism is really what saves so many people at the company, because if they don't like you, your experience will become a living hell. I expressed to my manager that I was experiencing anxiety, depression, insomnia and even suicidal thoughts (daily). They responded that they never experienced mental issues, so they couldn't give me advice. They would also talk down to me, roll their eyes and constantly blindside me in my reviews. The one time that I spoke up for myself, they tried to use the aggressive male card against me to appear as the victim. Time after time, I allowed myself to be belittled, disrespected and humiliated because as a person of color, I wanted to keep my job (the pay isn't great at all). There are countless other issues I experienced during my time with the company, but it would take me hours to list them all. The time I worked with them has left me traumatized and regretful. If you want a healthy work environment, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! They will make you go through an extensive interview process, work beyond 40 hours a week and use intimidation tactics to control you. I moved to a new city for this job to only spend most of my time working in my apartment, afraid to leave and having panic attacks every time I would get slack notifications. Even when I resigned the response from my manager was beyond immature. They barely spoke to me during my last 2 weeks and seemed joyful about my departure. Just a piece of advice, don't click the "Easy Apply" button on LinkedIn and put your mental health first.
