No work life balance. Regional directors that never show up. Practice hours are horrible. Practice directors that have favorites.

Each practice maintains a fairly independent status, and we still have sone control regarding our labs & products so we can best serve our patients, many for 20-30 years. Our independent relationships with our patients and our reps & labs has been the key to our long-term success.

Cons

Though we used to be independent, as opposed to part of a large corporation, we used to enjoy the tradeshows, learning opportunities, and industry conventions. Now we are part of a corporation and don't get those opportunities, leaving us feeling cut off and alone.
