      Technically you're apart of the County but not really a county employee. You get county benefits. Gain experience.

      Cons

      Pay raises are minimal. Union and organization can never come to an agreement regarding raises or benefits. Employees never received Covid pay or a raise. Once you reach the top of your level (ie. I, II, II) you will not receive anymore raises regardless of employee evaluation.
