      Pros

      Very laid-back attitude, fun atmosphere. Good technology and support for one's trading. Not required to put up your own capital

      Cons

      Mentors are hit or miss in terms of teaching ability. The payout structure doesn't really include incentives for experienced traders

      Pros

      Opportunity to sit for the series 7 & 63 exams and to trade the markets are great reasons to start your trading career here. Very laid back environment, fun place to work. Tremendous technology support from the company.

      Cons

      80% of traders will not last more than 18 months. Short term trading is very difficult and not for everyone. You may end up under a senior trader with horrible communication skills and that makes it hard to learn how to trade.

      Pros

      It was cool to share the trading floor with a bunch of other traders. Enjoyed company happy hours. Good tech and back office. Hands off management

      Cons

      Affiliated with SMB Capital by name only, Mike and Steve would show up on occasion, it was like no one even knew them. very different management and trading styles. Floor manager has too much clout, He wants everyone to swing trade like him.
