Pros

Keyence will keep hard workers through the hardest of times and only promotes from within which creates a unique culture where all of your managers did your job at some point. Hybrid schedule between the office and road is nice if you like to move around.

Cons

Travel load and expectations are high. If you don't like cold calling and having all of your possible metrics tracked this isn't for you. Some people also do say experience can be pretty territory dependent

- Good initial product and sales training - Very structured approach to sales and the sales funnel - Defined territories, relatively high quota attainment, promote based on performance

- Lack of structured training in more senior roles - Very metric based, sometimes to a fault

Pros

Great pay and flexibility. Lots of perks. Everyone in the industry trusts the Keyence brand.

Cons

A lot of travel. There is so much internal work proving that you are doing your job, that it hinders you from doing the job. So many metrics that even the managers have a tough time keeping up and change strategies mid way through the quarter.
