Pros

strong, focused teams in all product divisions and throughout the company. very efficiently ran and take great care of employees. management is transparent, and compensation is more than fair

Cons

can be challenging to be successful if you don't have the right mindset. A lot of type A personalities, depending on the division, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However for sales support there is not as much pressure of course since it's not sales, but you must be able to manage your time and travel extremely well

Pros

The pay is very decent coming out of college, and the job security is excellent. Keyence built a company that continually grows and out performs years past. Working for a company like this allows you to have peace of mind as long as you’re performing. The medical benefits and PTO are also really excellent. The customers and industries we work with make for an interesting work day generally. Keyence looks great on a resume so it’s easy to get a better and higher paying job after a year or two

Cons

Micromanagement can get old fast. You could be excelling in 19 out of 20 areas but if there is 1 area you aren’t as strong in they will constantly harp on it. This makes it hard to feel good about your overall performance even if you’re doing well. How one receives a promotion is very obscure and the performance reviews occur late into the new quarter so it’s hard to know what you need to improve upon. Communication can be a big issue from the top down, as there are a lot of managers who are great at selling, but utterly lack in the ability to manage people. Certain divisions are better than others and certain geographical areas are far far better than others. This leads to those who are in better divisions making far more money for less work. This also allows those who have good geographic areas to get promoted more quickly, simply because they can sell more as a result of the better territory.

Pros

Good training and good salary. amazing database. If anyone on here says "oh these people micromanage you" -- they are lazy and do not understand the importance of data in a company. Entering sales calls into a CRM is not micromanaging. Monitoring your phone calls is not micromanaging-- it is holding employees accountable.

Cons

nothing negative, amazing company to work for
