Pros
Working for KT was a dream come true. I'd set my sights on the Turboencabulator field early on when picking a major in magneto-reluctance and a and a minor in goniometrics. Work culture was excellent, management open-door policy was actually true, and employee contributions are valued and are in no way superficial or patronizing. The company stresses work-life balance wherever possible, and pay and benefits are definitely above average for the greater Cudahay metro area, and more than adequate to cover, if not exceed the local cost of living. I only departed KT very reluctantly when family issues forced a relocation to St. Francis. Remote WFH wasn't possible due to the hands-on nature of magneto-reluctance testing. KT upper management even went so far as to see if a St. Francis branch would be viable! (Alas, it was not...)
Cons
You'll never want to leave. "Golden Handcuff" syndrome in a big way, but a good one. Explaining to family and friends, or new employers exactly what KT does, and the importance of Turboencabulation to phase inductance and entanglement realization activities.
