      Pros

      After the 2017 fire in Santa Rosa, Keysight made sure to take care of its employees who were affected. To this I commend them a great amount. I had to take leave for out of country trips. Management didn't blink at me taking 4 weeks off. There was enough overlap of engineers to make sure work was covered. The ping pong table by the cafeteria has had some legendary matches. Same with the chess tables placed under green vines. Great employee introduction program "nextGen" which paired all entry level, out of college/gradschool employees for actaul fun activities. ex: giant's game, renting out activity centers, huge river rafting trips, etc The institutional knowledge is LARGE. So many smart individuals, who are humble and willing to help, mentor, aid, and teach.

      Cons

      The work can get boring after a while. Not much room for growth. Much of the positive culture is from the remnants of "The HP Way", and I'm afraid that once all the people who made HP great finally retire, corporate vultures are gonna gut the company and its values. There's a reason Carly Fiorina is despised at this site. Her 90s corporate redo of the company deviated from the culture of "taking care of employees". Can't make predictions of the future, but which form of leadership will lead to long term retention of talent?

      Pros

      Culture is something that is difficult to nurture, but when you have it - you know it's there, it feels tangible. Keysight retains the 'HP-way', an open-door management culture, where everyone is genuinely happy to help.

      Cons

      As with all larger organizations, there can be a lot of cogs in the machine. Moving quickly, can be challenging.
