      Pros

      Good work-life balance, co-workers are friendly and knowledgeable.

      Cons

      Upper managment is invisible and their decisions are not dessimimated down to lower level engineers. They make their own decisions without consulting on the ground managers. Going through a round of layoffs, but good severance package.

      Pros

      Been here for 27 years. Love every minute of it. Lots of innovation and leading/bleading edge tech innovation. People are great. Managers try hard and are good and caring people. Very flexible with work/life balance. Because of the need for engineering precision the quality/skills bar is set very high. Feel like you're making a difference in making the new digital world thrive, communicate, secure and innovate.

      Cons

      Not a ton of opportunities for advancement. Someone usually has to leave or retire. It can take years. Overall pay/bonuses/stock can't compete with the "big boys" but is well above average and is completely satisfactory. Old stodgy slow growth business with a big chunk of customer revenue coming from US government and defense department contractors. That said .. keysight is at the cross hairs of innovation with ev battery test, wireless communications, defense/spy equipment it's just not going to be lay man's consumer oriented projects/products.
