      Pros

      Lots of opportunity for mentorship. Well defined and stable product base/customers. Nice locations to live and raise a family. Some interesting projects.

      Cons

      Insular community culture, lead by disconnected middle management. Intentionally pay below market value. Over focus on M&A has lead to fragmentation and silos. Most who could mentor are too overloaded to do so. Retirement wave is irreplaceable, given timeline.
