Pros

Get paid to sleep (if you can). All the training you can handle... Which helped me better understand adults with disabilities.

Cons

Working excessive hours. I saw my family very sporadically. I lived, ate, slept and occasionally was able to shower at whatever house needed me. My supervisor acted as if it were my duty to take all of the overtime I could. I was once told "i just need a warm body there" after I explained that I had just finished working at another house. Enough was enough. I missed my family. Once a "grunt" it's very hard to work your way up.

If understand staff then you are pulling in extra hours and not enough time personal time, limited growth he if you don't have a college degree and bosses always changing schedules so be on the look out!
