Pros

you get to work with the best people and leadership is always looking after you and making sure you have what you need to be successful.

Cons

it takes some time to learn everything you need to know and a lot of practice to become good at it.

I liked the remote position

Cons

This is a cut throat culture that competes with each other every day. Gauntlets are held and you are asked to basically bring new business to the firm within a day of cold calling. And if you don't, you will be absolutely called out in the daily end of the day meeting. I felt exhausted at the end of the day full of cold calls, and was asked to submit daily to-do reports to the market VP. This position was micromanaged and felt like I was just a body there to make money. This job really traumatized me and I resigned 4 weeks in. I struggled to get many of the team members to respond to messages and meeting requests. You need them to include you in their meetings every day or you won't be seen as checking the box of calls per day. Honestly really toxic work culture.
