Pros

-Strong earning potential if you work hard and work smart. -Base salaries are competitive based on industry standards. -**Note to recent grads who are common candidates: you could earn more money your first year than your friends who have been out of school for 3-4 years** (does not apply to Wall Street bankers) .-You learn a lot about the niche industry that you recruit for. -Decent starting point if you are interested in recruiting since you will learn the ropes very quickly in a structured, gung-ho, metrics-driven environment (which could be a Con also). -They do provide good training. -If you qualify, which I did, the annual performance incentive rewards trip is amazing. They really do pull out all the stops.

Cons

-Extremely poor management decisions (all they care about is money and will do everything in their best interest, not their team's) -Lots of bureaucracy -Endless amounts of pointless, unproductive meetings, which are toxic to any corporate environment -Expect to work from 8am-8pm if you want to make money -Any changes that you suggest have to go 32 chains up for approval, and most of the time their responses will be that their "hands are tied" -They do not provide LinkedIn Premium accounts, so it sucks if you want to search for passive candidates -Benefits could be better, but are standard -You'll have about 3 months to prove yourself (seriously) and produce something, otherwise they will cut you like a steak.

Pros

There is an on-site gym (Reston, VA)

Cons

Immature management. Employees are not welcomed to make comments or suggestions in meetings. If you arrive 2 minutes past your start time, management wants to know why. You are expected to work like robots with zero errors ever. If you are working in excess of 5 minutes past your end time, you are expected to inform both mangers. If those managers are out of the office, you are expected to text them to let them know you stayed 5 minutes past the end of your shift. You aren't allowed to eat lunch at your desk for 15 minutes and then leave the office the remaining 45 minutes of your lunch time. There is no solid training. Only a 2-week on-line training course that has nothing to do with your job duties. Management never has your back and will never defend you. You are meant to feel as if you don't matter and you are always paranoid.

Pros

If you have no expereince recruiting, this is a place you can go to get it, especially if you are a Penn State Grad

Cons

Managers play favorites, gossip to employees about other employees, whine, worry more about their own bonuses than anything else, micromanage, treat employees like children, give "freebees" to incompetent recruiters just because they "like" them more They hire 5 people at a time in the hopes of keeping 1 for more than 6 months. This place is a cut-throat mill and you will not go anywhere in the company if that is your plan.
