Pros

Fun culture Unlimited potential if you work enough hours Get to build great relationships with clients and coworkers

Cons

To meet the deadlines that management will set for you, you will end up working until midnight or later as your working hours are needed to meet client expectations and drive new business. I thought when I started the late nights were just to get my feet off the ground, get my book of business going, and sort of 'test' my drive and ambition; but it has only gotten worse as time goes on. Every month I have new action items given to me to complete before the end of the month and it's either work on the weekends or nights to complete them as my metrics still have to be met on a daily and weekly basis, not to mention all the extra stuff clients are asking you for. Also, no yearly bumps in base salary. Not even the STANDARD 2-3% (and I won rookie of the year my first year and hit the next "career ladder" step they rave about during the hiring process, it's essentially a title change with no perks... AKA NOTHING) Sad part is I do really like working for Kforce and have no intentions to leave but it has just gotten ridiculous so i'm hoping someone sees this and decides to do something about it.

Pros

-Great to start your career in staffing -Decent training -Young group of workers -Managers that I reported to were great.

Cons

-Almost no opportunity for growth -Bonus was near impossible to achieve and was capped at $500 -No commission while most staffing firms offer a much more enticing compensation structure -C level Employees are a joke especially the CEO who was handed the company from his daddy - The company’s whole structure relies on finding kids new to the professional workforce and paying them an “ok” salary. Then they expect you to work overtime while not making more than your 40,000 salary -This company undervalues top performers -The only people that stay at the company 2+ years are ones that get comfortable or employees that are naive to the fact that they can make significantly more elsewhere -Resources for sourcing candidates was limited to their internal database since they did not want to pay for licenses for decent sourcing tools -KPIs are not set up to be team specific or role specific therefore many people were unable to hit them.

Great company overall

Pros

Kforce will make significant technological investments in making recruiting easier and more efficient. We have a really nice office and give a great first impression to prospects. I feel very proud when I bring in customers or guest into our Tampa office. Employees are given ample training and fair due diligence when it comes to corrective actions. Casual working environment and plenty of corporate activities. Good pay for what we do and I would assume it's in the upper-tier I'm comparison to what other staffing companies offer. Great opportunities for advancement. We have several young leaders who were breed within our walls.

Cons

Often at times if you need something done it has to go through several departments, countless emails, etc. Extreme cost-saving methods "Green" have been implemented that makes the company look "cheap" for employee needs. For instance, we no longer have paper cups and have to wash out a cheaply made Chinese tumbler every day. We only have about 20 small paper plates at a time per floor. The paper towel roll moves very slow now making people use less paper towels. Very thin toilet paper is now on the supply list as well and the faucets are very low in pressure often causing a log-jam at the sink to wash out our Chinese cups. Yes, many may view these as small issues but they have been a concern with many employees. Benefits also continue to be substandard but the pay is good so many of us compromise. 401K plan isn't the best with it matching off employee contribution and not salary so it doesn't encourage people to invest for their future.
