Pros

The training is well known to be some of the best in the industry. Many of the people that work here are extremely bright and motivated.

Cons

Challenges? Where do I begin? The pay is extremely low for the hours one puts in and the pressure one goes through. Management is chosen based on being a top performer, not a good manager. Oftentimes corporate politics and the existence of military experience factors into this as well. Turnover is relatively high in an already tumultuous industry. Here you are treated as a list of KPIs, not an individual employee. Ongoing professional development needs a serious overhaul. Our training class of ~30, after a year of employment, was down to around 15 people.

Pros

The recruiting staff around me seemed great - very kind, fun and helpful.

Cons

- Values / Morals: The leadership team focuses on the best ways to make themselves and the company money, and does not truly care about the candidates and contractors that they represent. The staff is taught how to charge more money, and pay contractors less. If you're in the staffing business for the right reasons - to help individuals with their job search and to aid in identifying the next best move for their career, then the nice paychecks will come naturally. - Very poor leadership and unhappy staff. - Extremely high turnover ratio - for a reason, not because of the industry standards. - Leadership decides on your commission with each deal, and has the right to keep your commission for themselves.

Pros

They were well connected with the big players in the market. One of the very few vendors who worked with the client that I worked with.

Cons

I worked with Kforce for a year placed on a client's location. As long as the contract continued, I had a great time. I was informed that my employment would end the last day of my contract, and I wouldn't be paid for this time. Typically, companies would give at least a few weeks after your contract got over before they terminate your employment. They try to give ultimatums to people on Visas. I experienced it and also heard from my friends who worked there. I worked with them for more than a year and did my best work there. At the end of my current contract, they led me to believe that they were fervently seeking opportunities for me. I was told that they couldn't find any project for me and nothing was open all over the US. I have multiple certifications in relevant technologies that are always in demand. But, I was told that they could locate just one project for me and that was it. And, this position was in a place far away from my current location, and I'd have to take a pay cut. Because I'm on my visa, I wouldn't have much of a choice. I've heard similar horror stories from my fellow legal immigrants who are here on a Visa. One of my friends was offered a position in a major city where he'd take a 15% pay cut. Just because a company is the employer and hold's an immigrant's visa, doesn't mean that they have the right to ill treat the person.
