Pros

This business is not for many people. However, if you can find fulfillment in understanding what drives people to make decisions and influencing them from the inside out you will find joy in the role. Top producers make on average 100-250k with a rare handful exceeding beyond. Most people making 40-70k

Cons

Don't expect profound training. The learning is in the experience and if you get aligned with people who are skilled. Leadership isn't trained to train, they are focused on counting and managing metrics and KPIs. For new people, it's going to feel like they are on you. This loosens up as you get successful but truthfully it takes 18-24 months before you really get your feet off the ground.

Pros

Local management is amazing. Support structure is top tier. The company's formula works. The culture is real, and healthy. I definitely had trouble walking away. I loved my job and my colleagues.

Cons

Upper management is not always in touch with the reality on the ground. Comparisons to "how it was when I did your job" abound, but staffing is quite different from 2 and 3 decades ago.
