Pros

You have the ability as a recruiter to change and better the lives of others by helping them find new employment opportunities.

Cons

-During my tenure there, I was asked by management to go on Glassdoor and write a review praising the company and leadership there. This was mandatory at the time and I am an employee that abides by the rules and wanted to keep my job. I followed instruction but surely wish I could rescind it now that I am no longer employed here. So....please be leery of all of these "positive" office employee reviews you see. -Leadership is an extremely dishonest group of individuals, that will give you every deceiving piece of rhetoric just to keep you producing at peak levels. They are also very military driven; meaning, they treat you like you're at a bootcamp and I QUOTE: "You can either meet metrics and expectations, or bleed on the streets." -Consistent HR issues and drama in the workplace -If you want to work at this particular company as a recruiter, please decide carefully if this is what you want your life to look like: A. Be expected to meet RIDICULOUS METRICS on a daily basis, and get called out in front of it every morning in front of your team and leadership during extensive morning meeting that eat up your precious time, which in turns impacts your ability to meet these metrics, and from there it turns into a viscous cycle. B. ABSOLUTELY FEEL like you are working in a call center; I can't re-iterate that enough. You are expected to make minimum 40-50 outbound calls a day. C. MICROMANAGEMENT to the point of delirium D. If you aren't making money, they make it clear that you are useless E. They literally will tell you that if you want to be successful at Kforce, do not expect a work-life balance of any sort

Pros

-decent pay for starting salary (you can negotiate as high as $60k starting if you interview well)

Cons

-8:30am meetings every morning to go over your numbers like sheep (could be consolidated to one meeting once a week but no) ..gets very old very fast -the "training" program is a series of boring webinars and powerpoints -pretty hard to be successful if you don't have prior experience in whatever industry you're staffing for (FA/tech/etc) .. you need pre-existing contacts in the field -clients are pretty rude to you or extremely boring to talk to -the work itself is glorified telemarking. cold calls, emails and linkedin messages all day long begging people to meet with you in exchange for free coffee, donuts, etc -they give constant "motivational" speeches to pump you up but if you have half a brain you can see right through it -turnover is incredibly high, so many people left (including management) during my time there -they will tell you it takes two years to "ramp up", but fire people after 6 months if they're struggling -leadership makes you participate in "gauntlets" which in simply to inspire competition between sales ppl -you have to work incredibly long hours to be successful (7:30-6 at least) -unless you get lucky and get a great client, finding business will be pretty hard -management makes you stalk people and call their personal cell phones to get meetings, as you can imagine, clients do not react well to this -classic burn and churn sales role -basically you have to be a brain dead "yes man" to be able to do this day in and day out and not want to die

Pros

In search for a new position it wasn’t about just the compensation and title. I was really looking for a company where I can bring years of experience to the table but still continue learning “how to do it better”. Kforce has a great senior team that has been with the company for many years and they are guiding me through how to step up my game in selling Kforce Solutions using their proven methodology. (Note: Comp plans are great!) Culture was also very important to me. Because we spend so much time with the people we work with, I wanted to work with positive, supportive, collaborative and fun people. I found them at Kforce!

Cons

Being a more senior level person, it would be great to see some others that are experienced in sales join the team. Other than that, no cons!
