Pros

Stay a year at Kforce and any Recruiting company will hire you when you leave. Good training program to prepare first time recruiters. Nice facilities, free coffee.

Cons

It is a sweat-shop at the Tampa NRC office! Crazy numbers driven and they get you with the overtime thinking it's a perk but really your completely underpaid compared to other smaller staffing firms in the area. If you want no life outside of work, Kforce is your employer! I was EXTREMELY unhappy with amount of pressure and stress forced on me from upper level management. I would literally receive over a dozen emails a day from my direct manager, who by the way sat 2 cubicles behind me, screaming about not hitting our numbers and emailing things like, "It sounds like a library in here!!!!!!!!!!!!" (literally just like that) 10 minutes after I walked in the door in the morning pressuring me to wind up like a machine and start making calls so he can make money. They treat all their employees like warm bodies just to fill seats. Everyone who works here complains about their job. Thank god I finally finished up my year and now work for a much smaller company who pays me overwhelmingly higher than I was at Kforce. Perk, as I mentioned, every company around town knows Kforce treat their employees like slaves and as soon as you leave, which is never soon enough, any company will want you. I can't understand how/why Kforce puts so much effort into the training program and then treats all their employees like dirt. It seems to me like all the turnover would be extremely costly for them, but then again they pay you pennies on the hour so Dave Dunkel the CEO probably has a very large chunk of change to throw down the toilet as he wishes. Good riddance.

Pros

only in office one day a week

Cons

Management is horrible. Plays favorites. You're role is so far removed from the client but your job is based off the amount of offers the client gives your candidates. Keep in mind. You are 4 steps away from the client to begin with. Management only cares about the people who will suck up. If you are a "top performer" the rules will not apply for you. If you are just a normal employee, management will make your life miserable and punish you for following the rules. We were literally threatened with termination if we didn't give the company a good review. HR did nothing about it when someone reported it. Pay is also really low. Long hours. Hours are 8-6. Managers want you to have teams on your phone and take calls at 10PM to "help out the CA market".
