Free Lunch on Fridays! the other teachers are great

Cons

-lack of empathy from ceo -they DONT background check anyone. we literally work with kids. so wrong -NO safety trainings, no cpr, no active shooter or fire drills. not safe -not paid on time -disrespect in the workplace -they dont seem to be in it for the kids -bad lesson plans, not appropriate for the age groups -lack of support -lack of supplies -dirty environment -didn't take feedback

Minimal training, lack of communication from HR. Won’t get your W2 from the prior year so you can file.

Pros

-The other teachers and staff that I got to work with were amazing -We got to do fun science experiments with kids

Cons

-poor organization -I was sent to multiple locations to work after I was hired at Lincoln Park -teachers were given very minimal training by other teachers who were not qualified to train -teachers were expected to teach themselves the curriculum and we often had to guess or add curriculum to our classes -the curriculum was designed for an older age group so I had to recreate the entire class when I worked with a very young group
