Working an average of 10 to 20 hours of overtime a week. Caseloads are high. No lunch breaks are taken due to work demand.

Pros

Benefits are very good, you pay less, and get more than other employers. The employees who really care are very good at what they do to help the kids. Some good training. Tuition reimbursement. Great way to get started in mental health field.

Cons

Very few long-term employees. They say no raises in 8 years, and kids are getting more violent than when they first started working there. Morale can be low more often than not. Not a place to work for more than 2 years.

Pros

Kids peace offers pretty much anyone a job and its a very good entry level opportunity. just trying to get to the minimum at this point

Cons

major con is that the clients that you deal with can put you in danger at times. They teach you a restraint system but educated clients will know how to manipulate it and put your safety at risk. The company pays for expenses if you get hurt but not good to work for a place that puts your health at risk.
