      Cons

      I was with the company for a long time. Enjoyed the culture and friendships (along with the job), there was nowhere else like it! Unfortunately it has gone seriously downhill in the past 5 years + and the things that set Kimpton apart no longer exist. The senior leadership is totally out of touch with the field and the way Covid layoffs were handled for higher level/longtime employees was really atrocious.

      Pros

      Love working for a company that allows me to be my true self at all times. It allows for us to be creative and always working towards a common goal. Lots of training is available for those that want to take them, including a great $1k a year tuition reimbursement is offered. A fun and close knit group of co-workers that are dedicated in taking care of the properties while having fun.

      Cons

      Maybe better 401k contribution match.

      Pros

      * We are encouraged to ask questions and to learn, without ever feeling as though we should already have the answer. * I have been given opportunities to expand my skillset in people management. * Everyone I've worked with on a management level or higher has been very welcoming and friendly.

      Cons

      * Long hours (especially during our busiest seasons) can be the norm.
