      Great company for part and full-time employment

      Pros

      They offer very generous perks for all employees that include perks for friends and family as well. Even though it is a corporate company, they make sure to give all employees the feeling of importance. The environment they create makes me want to be an even better employee.

      Cons

      Since I am a part-time employee I am not guaranteed the amount of hours I may need. I have had to deal with labor cuts which can sometimes translate into the quality of service we are able to provide for customers.

      DC Sales has gone down the drain

      Pros

      It USED TO be a fun company with clear direction; great communication from upper management.

      Cons

      Since IHG acquired Kimpton in Washington DC, new upper management is absent and communication is extremely poor.

      - Flexibility and work life balance - Awesome co-workers - Fun environment - Open door policy

      Cons

      - A little unorganized when rolling out new material - Additional responsibilities for no compensation - Shop calls - not realistic to the real world - Stay out of the drama....hotels are like high school
