Just like any other corporate environment

Pros

High autonomy, responsive HR, and diversity.

Cons

Leadership issues, especially the ones that got hired most recently, and unfounded layoffs, which means a lot of employees risk losing their jobs every day. As I said, just like any other corporate environment.

Awful experience

Pros

Remote work, many great coworkers

Cons

Constantly increasing rates, making it harder to sell and increasing goals at the same time. The agents who are selling the most are typically offering extremely low coverage and really high deductibles because that was the only way to get a competitive price. I felt pressured to neglect my fiduciary duty and offer this type of coverage to meet my goals. Overhired, extremely slow for about 5 months but reassured over and over that the volume will increase soon. When they couldn't gaslight any more, they had to admit that Management's projections were wrong and many agents were the ones to pay the price with mass layoffs. Terrible upper management that messed up projections and lied about it.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. As a member-owned company, it’s crucial to us that we provide coverage that truly benefits our customers, and we never want agents to feel pressured to offer anything less than what's best. As a growth-stage company, we aim to align our team’s structure and resources with both our current needs and our future goals as we expand into new markets. While our goal is to always serve our customers and employees to the best of our ability, we recognize there’s always room for improvement. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the best moving forward.

Pros

Remote Consistent pay Benefits That’s all.

Cons

- Controlled by incompetent management - Management is always changing due to layoffs - The company is bate & switch essentially - Contradicting metrics that change on a regular basis; no consistency.

Pros

- leadership treats ambitious and proactive people well - remote work - ability to implement your ideas if you have them - great mission to get behind

Cons

- the company is still growing, with continual re-orgs and occasional layoffs - leadership has a lot of ideas which can result in quick priority shifts - failing fast is a real thing here, resulting in a lot of thrash
