      Pros

      Steady paycheck. Huge company has potential for a good working environment (depends on immediate management). Flexible work schedules.

      Cons

      Cheap, cheap, cheap. Some management types are more ridiculous than others, but it's all about the bottom line. Return on investment is unheard of at this place. It's more about how much you can save today, who cares about tomorrow? type attitude. It's like they're running a company with 12 people instead of 12,000 with some of the archaic systems that are in place.

      Working at Kinder Morgan was a horrible experience. If you have any motivation in life to do well LEAVE NOW. The management is horrible. If you know more than them, you're screwed! They will treat you like dirt and find a way to get rid of you. I have witnessed on numerous occasions managers covering for each other. It's comical how many mistakes the management makes. But they don't admit it. Very dishonest company. If you're not willing to bend over, you're not gonna go for. Very understaffed. Galena Park is probablly the worst of all terminals. If Rich Kinder only knew some of the scandelous things that go on there.

      Great pay, alternating shift allows for more time off and opprtunities to get stuff done on week days.

      Cons

      Long hours (12 hour shifts), working weekends/weekdays/holidays, alternating between day shifts and night shitfs.
