Management is a complete joke. Pretending to care about employees and safe work practices while really only focusing on squeezing another penny and stretching employees thin. More focus on maintaining company equipment and assets. Find ways to limit exposure to chemicals thru engineering controls rather than PPE that is not practical.

Management does not respect personal time and since the IT department is extremely understaffed overtime and pressure to work during off times is common. The culture is archaic and more of a club where if you are not a yes man and value the company above all else including your family you will not move up (this was emphasized by management at times). It doesn't matter if you are at an important family event on your off time they will call for minor items and demand you leave the event to get to work. Management makes promises that are not usually kept. The IT department is not valued it seems by senior management so treatment by other departments can be harsh. Also be prepared for crude and inappropriate talk and actions at the workplace. The pay is not nearly enough (below industry standards) to deal with the culture at the company.
