Go somewhere else. You get ran into the ground. Equipment doesn't work sometimes, so tough luck for you. Just watch yourself and cover your behind. The "business outlook" for this place? Well, it's probably good, since they'll take anybody and since they're so good at screwing people. Companies good at screwing their employees and getting reimbursement all the while not having enough staff is a recipe for 'successful outlook.' There are good people everywhere and people need jobs so there are people on the floor who are caring and compassionate, but those people are probably too busy picking up the slack because there's not enough staff, etc. Those people are probably getting spread very thin so have a heart, they are angels.

Cons

If you can find another employer even if it's far away, I would recommend doing that, seriously. i wouldn't consider staying at 'The Big House' a future for yourself and your family or even much of a future for the patients who have to stay there. If you have loved ones, please don't send them to Kindred. When i was there, i swear there was a mold problem (smell?), the elevator didn't always work, understaffed, etc. When i'm old and tired, i better not ever get sent to Kindred.
