Pros

Great Culture, Always looking to improve and help build up the community. Staff is great to work with. The IT Dept is very quick to respond when there are issues. Lots of room for self improvement for through learning channels to help themselves better serve the community.

- my co-workers are the best part of my job - meaningful and purposeful work - flexible with life schedule - great benefits - lots of PTO - no micro-management

Cons

- tasks change from day to day depending on grant funding - lot of red-tape and bureaucracy - low pay and not very clear growth path/raises

Constant employee turnover and loss of any institutional knowledge ongoing for years. The pay scale is at the low end of average for this profession, in this area. Communication is an ongoing issue in several ways, and at several levels.
