      Pros

      I worked particularly at Klein Oak high school and I loved the culture of the school. Mr. Hensley does a great job leading the faculty and all of the APs are easy to work with. They do a good job of disciplining students and holding high standards.

      Cons

      With a school of that size, it’s easy for students to get overlooked and scheduling can become a pain with that many students. I think the guidance department does the best that they can, but it does make it stressful having uneven class sizes.

      Pros

      The onboarding / training we received was excellent, and the online portal made it easy to choose assignments at my favorite campuses and in my favorite subjects, even on the night before. I feel privileged to have taught so many memorable children, of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, in this school district.

      Cons

      I was not permitted to substitute at certain schools, including at schools that were closer to my home or that had classroom doors that locked properly, until I had been substituting for a few weeks.
