Knife River is a family and they are family-friendly... bosses with heart and integrity and they care first and foremost about the safety of all of their employees. The have a top quality product and lead the market in every way.

Great people, good pay, excellent benefits including 3% 401K match, and annual profit sharing.

Cons

You have to be proactive in finding work at the start of construction season. Don't be afraid to contact project managers, to let them know you are available, and your skill set.
