It used to be a great company before Knife River purchased the company

MDU resources (parent of Knife River) did infuse considerable capital into the financial mix

Cons

It was a great company when it was privately owned. MDU resources/knife river came in and turned from a great company to work for to a lousy company to work for. Thier initial position was that they would let original company run on it's own and 'just send them the money'. After a while they decided they weren't getting enough money and started to micro-manage the company. I won't say that it is now a great company to work for but it is certainly great not to be associated with Knife River/MDU resources.
