Pros

- No shortage of interesting problems to solve on the technology and business side - Smart and passionate teammates - Casual and fun work environment - Big emphasis on transparency. Regular no filter updates on the good and the bad. - The engineering team cares deeply about quality, tooling, learning, and experimenting

Cons

A tough environment for people who need a lot of hand holding and direction. You need to be passionate about data as everyone here really loves it.

Pros

I have been at Knotch for close to two years, and am still excited to show up to work every day. Since I joined the team, we pivoted, launched the first product, raised $10M, launched the second product and get to work everyday with Fortune 50 clients. This is a great place to actually make an impact on a business and an industry.

Cons

We are definitely not board, working with clients around the world means our schedules match theirs and we juggle product and client needs across the board. As we are hiring across the board, we all wear different hats before we are able to find new employees that live up to the knotch standards and culture.

Great Place for Self-Motivated People

Pros

Knotch is a great place to work for someone who doesn't like having a supervisor and who does better working with an objective than with a set of instructions. The team is incredibly smart and hard working, and everyone is constantly pushing each other to do better. Everyone has flexibility in doing their work, as long as they get their work done.

Cons

It's a start up, so it has the same ups-and-downs that any start up deals with. The team is too small to supervise anyone else's work, so it's not the best place for people who aren't self-motivated. As the company grows and implements more hierarchy (as any growing company must do, even minimally), that may change, but Knotch is still a fast-moving start up.
