Pros

Team can be great, if you’re on the right one Tuition reimbursement Certification reimbursement Basic health insurance 100% employer-paid (not sure if it still is)

Cons

So many perks/benefits have been stripped since they went public and then were acquired by Vista - Bonuses used to be close to $2k per month, now you’re lucky if you even get one - They took away the Cost of Living Adjustment regardless of inflation skyrocketing, even when they had it, it wasn’t even half of the year’s inflation rate - Took away free monthly ClassPass credits - Forced RTO for no reason other than to be able to watch you - Took away annual holiday party at Universal, now it’s a local beach party?? - The base pay for many roles is DANGEROUSLY below the standard of living for singles - Lied about lay offs recently, randomly laid off 25 people one day and said nothing

Thank you for your feedback. Our company-wide bonuses have always been based on monthly sales metrics and have never been a monthly guarantee. They also never averaged “close to $2k a month” over the course of a year. Yes, we hit $2k in months before, but they never averaged close to $2k every month. Last year, we paid out $7,500+ to each Knowster in bonuses throughout the year, similar to prior years. The ClassPass utilization was very low, so renewing this benefit didn’t make sense financially. We offer PeerFit, which also covers many monthly gym memberships and fitness classes. Our Hybrid Return to Office policy is designed to foster career growth and facilitate collaborative efforts by providing a conducive in-person work environment. While Universal was an incredible holiday party in years past, it was not feasible this year, given the economic climate and changes we are undergoing internally. Based on our regular surveying of current employees, most Knowsters love what they do, feel supported by management, and are happy with their current positions. We are sorry to hear that this was not the case for you, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Going down quick

Pros

Unlimited PTO, flexible schedule, great co workers.

Cons

They claim radical transparency and assured us of no layoffs and that comp plans would be for the better. However, they've now layed off tons of employees with no rhyme or reason as to why they chose who they did to stay or go. Severance was a joke. They cut base salary and commission for the ones who made it, when it was already low for the work load. Stu preaches not treating us like mushrooms(keeping us in the dark and feeding us sh*t) but here we are. He brags about his delimma with someome wanting to trade mansions and procedes to show the whole company pictures of the multi million dallar home. Meanwhile the bonus "game" has gone to crap and we barely hit any more. No room for growth and they are now making anyone within 25 miles of Clearwater RTO 3 days a week, even if hired as remote.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. The internal reorganization is part of our new go-to-market strategy. We understand the disappointment regarding recent changes, and we apologize for any confusion as these changes take place. We are doing our best to provide healthy severance packages for the roles that were no longer needed in the same numbers as part of the restructuring. We have also offered other job openings to qualified Knowsters as an option. Our bonus program earned each Knowster $7,500+ in 2023 and maintains a trajectory similar to previous years. Our Hybrid Return to Office (RTO) policy fosters career growth and enhances collaborative efforts by providing a conducive in-person work environment. We understand that some employees may have special circumstances preventing them from adopting a hybrid work setting, and we are committed to accommodating their needs individually to ensure an inclusive and supportive workplace.
