      Pros

      Still a market leader in SAT. Expansion through aquisitions and new releases provide a lot of greenfield.

      Cons

      Typical PE roll-up since KB4 was purchased. KB4 used to be an org that valued employees and allowed them the freedom and creativity to thrive. Hard work was rewarded and there was a lot of money to be made. Since the purchase it has been death by 1000 cuts. Convoluted comp plans that are cleverly designed for staff to not realized that total comp is being cut/limited. Increasing micro-management and obsession with vanity metrics. Total comps are absolutely down and staff are all low on morale.

Sales and commission opportunities have increased as we continue to add more products to our suite of offerings. We value employee feedback and consistently ask for feedback during Ask Me Anything sessions, anonymous surveys, and via our no-door policy.

      A LOT of change in the last year - and more to come

      Health insurance, unlimited PTO, good teammates, free gym membership, work from home 2 days/week

      Cons

      PAY - Commissions have been cut SEVERAL times over the last few years. More people/roles competing for the same pot of commissions/money. More changes are coming. WFH - Have to go to the office 3 days a week after 5 years being home and crushing our targets. Give up some of your rental space to reduce costs. Appreciate your employees hard work and let us stay home full time. "Moving closer" to the office is not a realistic option.

      I think they still give away snacks?

      The CEO appears to have some kind of dementia as he frequently repeats himself on the morning meetings forgetting what he had told the entire staff previously. The salaries have been changed and it is very easy for the higher ups to "reorganize" so you are no longer needed regardless of tenure. This is basically a disguised lay-off. It seem that VISTA has no idea who actually built this company.

      Since we are still growing, a lot of items are repeated during Daily Briefings so new Knowsters are kept in the loop. Compensation plans have changed, and we are working on updating them based on employee feedback for 2025. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors.
