Pros

Team consisted of genuinely competent and talented folks.

Cons

I really wish I had better things to say about this sham of a workplace. I wanted it to work out, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt at all times. Turns out, they didn’t care to do the same for me. And honestly, why would they? I’m not a Scientology sheep — I have a brain and the ability to think on my own. Every morning begins with a tacky and overzealous “debrief” with the CEO and his lackeys. They feign structure and organization, yet they have none across the company. If you are not an executive or manager whose Scientology service completions can be easily located with a quick Google search, then you’re pretty much disposable at any time. They will lie to your face, especially your manager, and fabricate a story as to why you’re suddenly not present at work. You will not get the opportunity to speak for or defend yourself. Even though you started at the bottom of the totem pole, anyway. They will repeatedly state a number of things that are “not in the budget,” just so the CEO can receive praise for pulling from his own pocket. This is laughable. He made $6 million in equity alone in 2021…I have a feeling he can pay for everyone’s shoddy, scammy “business” courses at $800 each. Each role-specific “training” pathway (provided to each employee when they leave training) gives “the bridge to total freedom” vibes. I truly wish I was lying. And the more I learned about the eerie and uncomfortable things unfolding in Downtown Clearwater — from the numerous empty storefronts, to the almost comically central location and apparent distance from the main “Super Power” building (Red Flag!!!!) — the more targeted I felt in the background. Not sure what tabs they keep on their employees, but if you have any semblance of self respect, then please search for employment anywhere else.

Hi, Stu here! I want to express my gratitude for sharing your feedback. Our executive leaders and I are fully committed to upholding our core principles of radical transparency and extreme ownership. Allow me to provide a straightforward explanation of the changes taking place at KnowBe4, both for you and other readers on Glassdoor. We are currently optimizing our operations in response to the effects of the economic cycle, resulting in adjustments to budgetary discretion across all departments. In regard to the business course, I sponsored the Maven AI training course for any Knowster who wants to take the course to ensure we stay ahead in the evolving cybersecurity landscape. I encourage employees to spend at least 5 hours a week studying and want to support further education surrounding AI by covering the cost of this course. My aim is to ensure we stay at the forefront of the ever-changing technology landscape. At KnowBe4, we take our no religion and no politics policy seriously. We believe that such conversations only lead to heated disputes and should be kept out of the workplace. If you ever witness a violation of this policy, regardless of the person's seniority level, please report it to our people operations team. Identifying and addressing these violations promptly is the only way to prevent them from happening again. Rest assured, my goal is to maintain KnowBe4 as an efficient, balanced, fast-paced, and enjoyable workplace that our amazing Knowsters adore. I hope this explanation provides the clarity you seek. I sincerely appreciate the valuable work you have done and continue to do for KnowBe4. Warm Regards, Stu

Pros

Unlimited pto is about the only pro left

Cons

Great marketing to attract talent, but once you’re in you’ll see the truth. People are voluntarily leaving in droves. Low wages, benefits are being scaled back or eliminated month by month. No guaranteed bonuses. Extreme micromanaging!!! They have their hoards of Scientologist employees posting positive reviews to drown out the bad reviews that are piling up. The 5 star reviews are a lie, do not believe them! Total scam.

First, we would like to share the fact that KnowBe4 has a ‘No Religion and No Politics policy.’ While everyone is free to practice their own beliefs, those beliefs are not to be discussed during business hours and in no way impact our company culture or the way our organization is run. In regards to the bonuses, all employees (after their first 90 days) can earn monthly bonuses between $0 and $2,000 based on company-wide sales. This year we have already awarded a $2,000 monthly bonus plus several smaller bonuses, and it does vary monthly. We are no longer offering benefits that had extremely small employee usage percentages (such as ClassPass and the discounts program) and instead investing in expanding our benefits that a large percentage of employees utilize (such as healthcare and team-building events). Finally, it is also important to note that it is impossible to control Glassdoor reviews in any quantity that would affect the ratings of a company with over 1,100 reviews. We know not everyone will love working at KnowBe4, but the vast majority of employees do, as is evident by external surveys, awards, and Glassdoor reviews.

Pros

Great views from the office, good snacks

Cons

This company has severely gone downhill due to poor leadership. Promotions are decided based on rank in religious affiliations. The culture has disappeared. There is no equity. There is no equality. In fact, the CEO has made it clear that he does not agree with the concept of equity in DEIB, and diversity is very surface level. If you don't agree and go with the flow, you will be forced out.
