Pros

I have no positive words for this company and would not recommend.

Cons

The nepotism is real within KS. It's so uncomfortable to work where everyone around you is related throughout all of HQ and it becomes hard to just focus on work when there is always drama. CEO talks nonstop about how inclusive they are, while she has an HR team that is so incredibly unethical. Constantly making fun of employees and gossiping, including making fun of their own VP of HR and any employee that doesn't seem cool enough to them. It feels like working within a sorority at this point.

Pros

You get government holidays off.

Cons

The office I work in is great, but who you work with upfront matters greatly. And depending on how you get along will depend on how you like the job

Great mid-size company in Central Indiana

Pros

Knowledge Services is a great place if you like to work for entrepreneurs that are always looking to find solutions for their customers, predominately in the government sector. The CEO is an inspiration for women in business and your coworkers can become great friends inside and outside of the office. As someone who likes to feel part of a team/family and give it my all, integrity and respect are high priorities for me when looking for a company to work for. I've always believed you shouldn't work for people you don't respect. This is what made Knowledge Services my home.

Cons

Since this is a mid-size corporation, the salary range in some departments/areas is not as competitive as a large 500+ corporation. However, there are many amenities provided that can bridge the gap. e.g. free fitness center, many company lunches and get-togethers, work from home opportunities, and a beautiful office with many different areas to work in for a change of scenery. If you've seen negative reviews on Glassdoor, don't be discouraged. I think it points to the willingness to try to improve a situation with team members (possibly for too long) rather than cutting ties when it's clear a team member is unhappy or no longer is a good fit for their role and may need to find a career somewhere they find more fulfilling.
