Pros

I had a great time at koala working on lots of projects I never thought would have been in my wheelhouse. The people were wonderful and it was a really fun culture.

Cons

The “scale—up” culture is exhausting. They are constantly raising funds from investors and when that doesn’t come through they make senior staff redundant and promote juniors to fill their roles. This makes the company look great on paper for the next round of fundraising.

Good culture - work hard, play hard. Generally try to do the right thing by employees

Cons

inconsistent prioritisation, with some decisions made hard to understand (i.e. changing goal posts)
