Pros

Caregiving, laundry, and housekeeping is always so helpful towards one another. Can really count on them to be there!

Cons

Some residents are extremely combative towards caregivers, do have scars. Management is always worried about how the building looks instead of how the residents are.

Thank you for spending a few minutes and providing feedback. We love to hear about teamwork and how helpful caregiving, laundry, and housekeeping are with working together. We will pass along the kudos to the teams and to each of those department heads. Caregiving is a hard and stressful job, and while it is very rewarding, there are also challenges when residents are having a difficult time in their life. Dedication to the care of our residents and staff is a top priority, and we are sorry you did not feel appreciated. We will work with our management team and ensure positive actions are better acknowledged. Good luck in your career and we wish you the best.

Thank you for your years of service with Koelsch Communities. It is nice to hear that your community is uplifting, rewarding, has good job security and educational. We agree that the job can be physically demanding and that growth opportunities can be stagnant at times. One area we are always working towards is spotlighting new roles and positions. Please reach out to your Executive Director and let her know that you are interested in growing with Koelsch Communities and build a plan together.

Pros

Your fellow co workers are the most delightful people you will EVER meet! It is what will make you want to go to work everyday.

Cons

Management is given a very low budget, that makes it really hard to have what you need for your job, it also drags down morale.

We respect both our full-time and part-time staff equally and appreciate your feedback. We love to hear that your co-workers were delightful and that you were able to create solid relationships. The culture of Koelsch Senior Communities is remarkable and something that we take pride in and try to build upon continually. It is true that each department is responsible for managing their budgets, and we feel this process encourages community ownership. The Director of Resident Services is responsible for the available resources in your community, and we hope that you spoke to her about the limited supplies. We are always looking for ways to empower our staff and appreciate teams in new and innovative ways, and we are sorry that morale was low. Thank you for your time with us, and we wish you the best in your next position.
