      Pros

      I loved my coworkers. They are all wonderful people to work with. Oftentimes it felt like a second home.

      Cons

      Upper managment really blows. Money hungry. They need to pay their CNAs more- but thats not just exclusive to Koelsch. CNAs need to be paid more everywhere. CNAs at Koelsch feel important to lower management (DNS), but disposable to upper management.

I am happy to read that you loved your co-workers and honored to have you part of the Koelsch family, but we are sorry that you felt undervalued. We do have an open door policy, and during your short stint with the community, I hope you were able to discuss the discrepancies mentioned. It’s also not too late to contact your executive director and speak freely. We hope you find success in your future positions.

      Pros

      The residents are amazing. They're the only reason to show up every day/night/ or evening. Sometimes they give you free food.

      Cons

      Pay sucks. Work understaffed all of the time. Having to work over your shift almost every day. Don't get appreciated or thanked. Get disrespected by fellow aids and nurses. Not worth it. You hardly get paid anything for all of the hard work you do. The residents out number the aids greatly. No one takes what you say into consideration. The employers are cheap. And the gossiping and "clicks" at the this work place is extremely unprofessional. Employees disrespect one another. Making it miserable just to show up to a shift.
