Very good pay, Paid business trip for "intern kickoff" event (includes food, hotel, rental car, flights), Good support system within most stores and great first intern program, Lots of hands on knowledge that is transferable to other positions.

Cons

Management and store quality varies greatly store to store. Company goal of "destination store" and company perception is not realistic in comparison to consumers and public perception. Narrow room for horizontal movement, if you work on store side hard to transfer to corporate or operational positions.

Great experience, was treated as a part of the management team from the first day, very organized program with lots of events with the other intern and ability to make it into what you want. Shape your own learning and be creative in different areas of the store.

Cons

Difficult customers, sometimes long days, early morning hours and late shifts, repetitive and sometimes busy work.

They pay you well and you get a good employee discount.

Cons

The hours are long and you have to work nights and weekends and you are standing on your feet all day long. I was an intern and there was no structure to this program. The managers acted as if the interns were a hassle and refused to teach us anything. If you are looking into management programs this program is for people who want to float by in life and don't want to work hard at anything.
