Pros

Paid weekly. I use to enjoy my job however with the changes made to the store I have grown to hate it.

Cons

no flexibility in schedule with no balance with work vs home life they expect family to come second. The store cheats to make its goal like having associates take the customer surveys or forcing associates to apply for the koh'ls card even if previously rejected for one

Pros

Associate/ employee discount, YES we can return policy for customers, belief in excellent customer service. Updated POS systems. Growing company with over 1000 locations in U.S. Credit card program. Monthly new clearance markdowns, employees can use their discount on even these items. KCK kohl's cares for kids program and AIA events or A team events, charity events giving back to the community. Going green. Manager in Training Program.

Cons

no recognition. Daily Recognition non existent. No Yes we can for dedicated, loyal employees. Its ashame tha customers are treated better than your loyal employees. Manager in Training program is not utilized to the highest extent. Some of the company's best people have left the district I worked in because the district manager did not want to transfer them or put them in the manager in training program. Education is not valued even though they claim it is. Company has grown so big that values have been lost sight of. The truly dedicated employees thrown in the back burner.

Pros

Decent salary, opportunity, job stability as long as you can keep up with customer readiness, and store stats.

Cons

The do more with less theme has gotten to a point of ridiculousness. Quality of life gets worse every year. Pressure to hit credit, and other store statistics are at an all time high. I see more and more Store Managers fearful for their job.
