- The work experience is entirely based on whether or not you have a good management team.
- Training for new associates is not very good; a few hours of computer based training followed by a few hours of "buddy training" with another associate and then you are left to work by yourself and expected to achieve the same standards as any other associate.
- Limited room for advancement within the company.. again, depends on the store management. A good store manager will promote qualified individuals from within the store. Bad management will ignore the talent that they already have and recruit outsiders.
- Room for advancement at the area supervisor level is VERY limited. Open Assistant Manager positions are filled with whoever is the DM's favorite, or by outside applicants.
- Turn over is very high
