Pros

Kohl's is very flexible as far as schedules and hours go! If you want more hours, they have it for you. If you want less hours, they're fine with that, too. Everyone at Kohl's is very friendly and fun to be around. It's a very open environment! Also, their 401k program is amazing, and their benefits are super great!

Cons

It's minimum wage, but the job is easy, so this really isn't a con.

Kohl's complicates the concept of "selling stuff to folks"

Pros

Management positions pay very well. Store managers are easily into 6 figures with bonus. There are many very talented executives and Associates that work in the stores.

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance for the management teams. Hourly associates are truly underpaid for the amount of work that is required. The fitting rooms are torture for the Associates and the Customers. The continuous marketing assaults are unnecessary, confusing, and manipulative. The incessant drive to open charge accounts creates an atmosphere of dishonesty. It just isn't a healthy environment.
