      Great discount, nice employees overall, it's a job and pays the bills so in this economy even a little of something is better than nothing

      Cons

      we can never be fast enough or do enough, too much crying for credits and emails-- ridiculous, nothing like seeing a crappy fittingroom full of cloths piled like a mountain top with 10 tags of stolen items underneath, it gets boring real fast,

      Pros

      Kohl's is doing great in the market - they continue to improve their comp sales growth and have been a leader in the industry. I've never been afraid for my job security.

      Cons

      All about politics and who likes you... I was told by my boss that it doesn't matter if I do my job well or not. Point blank. Very conservative management and corporate environment.

      Chaotic, one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Extremely poor communication between managers and employees--except when they are demanding that you get customers to open credit card applications. Very sparse coverage on the floor. Lots of cleanup (recovery) with very little time to get it done. Lots of merchandise ends up needlessly on the overcrowded clearance racks because they were too cheap to hire enough employees to get the merchandise back on the floor in a reasonable amount of time. What a waste. The worst thing, though, is getting so few hours and sometimes not even knowing why. Just not a nice place to work. I would not recommend it.
