      Pros

      The associates working on the floor and in the office are great. Exceptional customer focus and always willing to step up when needed.

      Cons

      Executive level associates are all dog-eat-dog. Happy to step on anyone's throat to get ahead. The Kohler family is entertained by this and often stokes the fire for their amusement. No one in executive leadership actually retires from Kohler.... you quit, you get fired, or you "retire" because the company tells you to

      If over 50 you’ll be losing your job

      Years of stable income. Nice community.

      Cons

      Since Kohler has decided to illuminate everybody with more than 25 years invested in the company, it’s been a very sad and poor experience for the people sent to the street in their mid-50s and expected to just pick up another job after working there for 30 years. The company has notification towards employees who show it willingness to stay at the company, instead, here’s the door without even a handshake you don’t treat people with over 20 years of service like this especially when you target a certain democratic.

      Pros

      Potential to get a variety of experience under the umbrella of a single company. Pretty good benefits and pension program.

      Cons

      Lots of big egos to navigate. Get on the wrong side of one and they'll be a thorn in your side. Salaries are average for all job families and this is by design. Lots of bureaucracy and a culture of fear/reluctance to make decisions. Low trust/autonomy.
