Pros
Good benefits, decent pay. The office gets amazing projects so you do have the opportunity to work on large scale infrastructure projects, office buildings, hotel, residential. If you want to be a designer and do not care about learning how things are built - this is the place for you. Also, if you love the 80s corporate drone and the idea of the Mad Men running the office in a post 3rd wave feminist world, this office is totally for you. There is definitely room to move upward at this company, but you have to ask - rewards are not given based on actual responsibility and quality of the work you do. You or your director/PM/principal must fight for your position since it is easy to get lost in a firm of a couple hundred people. Management is usually responsive and will give you what you want if you are a good employee. The office has been changing for the last 10 years with no clear direction - I guess this could be considered a pro if you would like the idea of coming into a place and influencing its future direction.
Cons
Since it is an international firm, the majority of scope does not include CA and even CD a lot of the times. This sucks for anyone who is a young architect. There are not huge support programs for young architect's education and growth - a lot of people get lost in the masses and spend a year photoshopping renderings. The office is very top heavy, all white old guys running the place (just check out who the principals are on their website). There is an image problem - the work is great but the office environment itself is dated, shabby and indifferent in it's approach to design and social experience - this is super odd since it is an architecture office.
