You either get really lucky or really strike out
Pros
Big company with worldwide projects Good health insurance with a great benefits manager Great office location overlooking Bryant park Lots of licensed architects, they know what they are doing. If you're lucky, get licensed quick.
Cons
Terrible culture - like most architecture firms. You either get really lucky being placed in a team lead by a great human with actual leadership skills who is interested in seeing you grow, or have the bad luck of being placed in a team with a terrible lead who gives you an insane amount of comments at 10 pm to be finished and addressed by 9 am the next morning and expects you to work weekends and when you dont, reprimands you and the rest of the team members for not responding to messages over the weekend. It's a lottery. Horrible.
