Pros

Supportive managers and coworkers. Decent benefits. Good work life balance.

Cons

Subpar raises, and limited opportunities to move up from the helpdesk. Simply not enough openings. Easy to get stuck there for a long time. Often there are big moves to let go of top paid talent or pressure into early retirement and replace with contractors. Overall quality of support has suffered. Store employees complain about this.

Pros

Depending on who your leadership is, they can be very flexible. You can move around in the company fairly easy.

Cons

There are no more hybrid schedules, and this has made work/life balance harder. They also did a reorg in September and no everyone is doing double the work for the same pay. There is no CEO right now, so nobody is sure what the direction of the company is.
